International Symposium

In 2026, the Compagnons Hépato-Biliaires will join the Hepato-Biliary Centre Day to celebrate their 40th anniversary.

The Compagnons Hépato-Biliaires are a group of surgeons from around the world trained at Paul Brousse by Professor Henri Bismuth and then by his successors. The group comprises more than 100 international surgeons who are leaders in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery and liver transplantation in 25 countries. A scientific meeting is held each year, organised by a member in their home city. Paris was chosen by the entire group for this 40th anniversary. It will be a three-day international conference with lectures and themed presentations at the New Cap, from 4 to 6 June, coupled with the traditional multidisciplinary day at the CHB.
